Did you want something for next to nothing? Yes and you got your fingers burnt...0 -
There are a lot of people very happy with wedding dresses from China over on the marriages board. Personally I wouldnt buy them but they work for some people. You buy from abroad you need to assess the risks and possibilities of a refund if something goes wrong. Then with that assessment you can make an informed decsion if the risk is worthwhile.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

Most stuff purchased from china on ebay is cheap rubbish, once in a blue moon you may end up with a great item but whenever i buy anything from china i do so with the expectation that it will no doubt end up in the bin pretty darn soon if not upon receipt. As such i only spend what i can afford to give away which is not a lot these days lol0

Hiya
I got my wedding dress from Monsoon in their January sale for £66 - it was absolutely beautiful and I felt great in it. I only got married last Thursday and my friends were asking me what designer it was - I felt graceful and elegant.
I know Monsoon are having their sale on at the moment - if your wedding is coming up shortly and you're running out of time just get it from there - I highly recommend!0 -
Isn't most stuff made in China now?0

OP, I'm sorry for what happened to you. But there are many perfectly decent and honest people in China - I think it's a bit harsh to dismiss the entire country because of some shill on eBay.
Good luck to you. x0 -

Yes and some of it is very good quality, simply down to the fact they are manufactured to a standard which have to meet certain regulations and requirements to which they receive a certificate and a load of fancy numbers and letters from various agencies.
The crap you get on ebay passes no quality control, has no safety standards or ce marks. Simply thrown together in back street factory's probably staffed by children.0
