  • I will be keeping on with saving my £2 coins - I have £64 already from starting in September and know that that is money saved which would otherwise have "disappeared" as change always does.

I plan to make more chutney and preserves and to never buy a jar of chutney again!

The main one for me is to get control of my weekly shop by making sure I use what I have in the house for my menus before buying more food!

Less random purchases on shopping trips - I will remember that each penny adds up to a pound and each pound adds up to a tenner!

Set up standing order for rent and savings to go out on payday so I don't spent it.

Save at least £500 per month towards flat deposit.

Sort out my clutter and charity shop what I don't need to create more space for the things that I do

Encourage Birthday Presents and Christmas presents for things that I want but don't need (eg books and cds) so I can spend my money on the things that I do

    Budget.
    Mortgage Free since January 2018!
