I feel sorry for the poor people who've just lost their jobs over this. One bad apple (at the top of the tree, granted) have just stitched up hundreds of poor people who until last week, thought they had a job.

I understand peoples anger over what happened, but many innocent people have, and continue to be, affected by this through no fault of their own.
Correct. Which is why the finger is, and should be, pointing ever higher up the management structure. beyond NOTW and into News International.

Exactly. But it's not just NoTW staff who are suffering. I work for a company who isn't owned by News International only associated it and there's every chance people will lose jobs there too.
The big bosses will be fine. With that much money and power they always are.

Don't just assume. The site says nothing about not accepting free orders anymore. I printed mine today so it will be posted tomorrow.
Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

Why are they now attempting to charge us for the Free souvenir edition of the paper?

Since they redirected the NOTW website to offersontheweb yesterday, the vouchers for the free version of the offer no longer seem to be accessible.

The free offer said it was available until the 22nd July.

They said that the souvenir papers were free so they shouldn't be trying to charge for them.

Is it still possible to download the free voucher from anywhere?
