I used this on Christmas Eve for my son. I didn't take him with me but they gave me Calpol and a cough bottle over the counter when I told them his symptoms ( I think you normally have to take them though)- but I am sure it only applies in SCotland at the moment.No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

it is only a scottish thing at the moment. the advertising of it has been banned as it was feared the uptake would be too great and pharmacies wouldnt be able to cope.x x x0

There is a similar service in Nottingham (Areas covered by Nottingham City Primary Care Trust) where you register with a pharmacy and get free medications for minor illness....its called Pharmacy First
