Haven and Upgrading Caravans?

We are going to Berwick next Month and have booked a Superior Caravan but we have been thinking about upgrading to a Prestige Caravan.

But will Haven let us Upgrade before we go?

Also what is the Difference between Superior and Prestige and is it really worth it to upgrade?

You can usually see the difference on their website, click accomodation at the top of their website. I think generally they're just alot newer/bigger. Also I *think* prestige comes with some heating in the bedrooms/bathroom but don't quote me on it.

I've tried to do it in the past but they've always wanted mega ££££ so have never bothered. I guess it's worth ringing and seeing what they say, don't pay over the odds though!

edited to say yes it's worth upgrading if it's cheap enough :)
This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.

I phoned the Haven we're going to on Monday :j :j last week to upgrade us from a Standard 2bed (Sun newspaper deal) to a Luxury Plus 3bed. Cost about £50, could afford it as just had bonus from work :)

We too are going to berwick next month, we go there every year as we love the place. If your looking to upgrade then try the park direct 01289 330294 as they are always helpfull and will give you a price there and then. Also, if you have nt been before and would like me to try and answer any questions about the place or area please feel free to ask. Paul

    hi

does anyone know how much an upgrade costs?

A poster on this thread said it cost them £50 ? is this what others have been charged?

On the Sun on-line booking it said upgrade for £13.50 pp (which i took to mean per person ie £54 pounds which i thought expensive to upgrade from a standard van to standard plus.

what are other people's experiences of upgrades?

We have a dog so cant upgrade past standard plus...

but the sun holidays are £9.50 anyway, so if you pay the £13.50 it is only £4 per person to upgrade, or £16 if there are 4 of you which is quite cheap, we have just booked our oct half term 4 night break with haven, and chose the luxury plus option which was £17.50, again only £8 each, or £2 per night which ever way you want to look at it, and i believe that will save us £10 as we should not need to pay for linen now we are luxury also
Take every day as it comes!!

but i thought it said online £13.30 pp and £17.50 pp

which i thought meant Per person ie you pay £13.50 extra for each person in your booking .......

agghg i have just reread you post and now got what you mean - it is 17.50 per person instead of the 9.50 not as well

    aghgh

and if so can i upgrade now or is it too late?

this is my first ever sun booking so am just learning!

I will know better next time round...
