What is that Property Bee

I see people mention it here all the time, so i went to download it. Had to change web browser to Firefox, but still can't see what it does or how to make it work.

If you go to Rightmove once it is installed then you can see the history of a property, when it first appeared on the site and price changes/listing amendments since. Look at the same page in Internet Explorer and you will see the difference. Until you compare the two it isn't obvious what it does.

Note: if you have Firefox 5 then PropertyBee may not work. I got a warning before upgrading to FF5 that PropertyBee wasn't compatible and as a result haven't yet done so.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Property snake is the alternative if you can't get property bee to work. Property bee is best though.

Awww bless... that's actually the whole bl00dy point :)

Property Bee is a Firefox Add On that, when you go to Rightmove, Primelocation or some Irish site or other, will show you the history of a house for sale, while it has been on with the current agent.

There is a toolbar that appears and if you go to Rightmove and are not seeing additional (blue/yellow tables) of data with every listing, then check that you are "working in a bee".

    Simples :)

There is a similar thing for chrome, but as less people use it, it's not so comprehensive. The chrome one just shows you little arrows, rather than the Property Bee's huge "in your face" blue/yellow/white chunk of data slapped right inside each listing.
