Had a windscreen repaird by Autoglass????

If you have had a windscreen repaird by Autoglass, dont matter how long ago, and its not to you expectations you can ask for a NEW FREE screen from Autoglass.

Or if you think is starting to crack from where it was repaird just do a push test,
If it cracks it's coverd by Autoglass in there life time guarantee.
Just go to the insde of the car and with your thumb just apply a small pressure at where it was repaird, if it cracks from the repair it will be replaced by Autoglass for FREE... saveing you your excess and no claims bonus....

just read there guarantee....:j

not so, I had a crack/stone chip done by them, you can still see the crack, but you can only claim for a new screen if it cracks out from the repair. this is virtually impossible, as the crack is glued.

Think about it £80 for a repair, £900 for a new windscreen, they could never make any money if it was at your discretion to fit a new screen because your not entirely happy

    which is what they said..

although they've only stated the obvious.. If Autoglass repair your windscreen, they give you life time warranty on it; so if their repair fails they'll fix it........

Those are the prices they give for insurance quotes.

Private buyers can get it cheaper if you ask properly.

I'm afraid you've got that mixed up....
Insurance companys pay less then a private customer will. The price which is quoted for a customer can only be reduced by 30%.

I agree. I paid £130 for a Honda Jazz windscreen recently my local independent. He did a great job of it too.
