Aaarrgghh. Can anyone help?
DD got the 2006 version of BA yesterday but when she cries, the real tears aren't coming out.
Anyone else found this? It also means that as her tear reservoir is now full, everytime she tries to feed her she just stops and burps immediately!
Any help much appreciated as DD not happy

my daughter says to try and tip her up over the sink and pat her quite hard. we had this problem a couple of years ago, did this and it worked.water might !!! out everywhere over her face but just keep trying this over and over...
hope it helps, let me know.Just to win anything would be great!!0 -
Arg- we're having the same problem, and after beating up Baby Annabell over the sink we get a lot of laughter but no tears.
Luckily daughter doesn't know that she's meant to cry, but it would be nice to be able to feed her again.
EDIT: she now cries- daddy forced fed her some water, then we yelled at her after she fell asleep. Real tearsPurple Penguin Power!

Should we be reporting Daddy for child abuse0

Daddy's hand is sore after beating up baby
Daughter doesn't know what to do with baby now- she keeps handing her to me.

I wanted one of them, but instead I got a regular doll and my Mam had poked a hole in her mouth and bottom :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -
LOL - thanks for the replies. Have been out all day and Annabell is still totally dry eyed, so just off to manhandle her over the sink while DD is asleep. Same here, she doesn't know that the tears are meant to come out so isn't bothered, but when you're paying £30 for a doll, you want it doing the works!!
Edited to say that I've thumped her on the back, on the head, have bashed her face first into the floor. Absolutely not one tear in sight. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!
Any more tips?
Danni, how exactly did you force feed her? I tried squirting extra water in during feeding but it all squirts out of her mouth again when you remove the bottle.0 -

ROFLMAO your mam doesn't have a long lost sister who now lives in Liverpool does she because thats what my mum did when my younger sister asked for a tiny tears doll!0 -

I'd suggesting threatening to take her back to the toyshop, but I fear that would only result in cries of delight.0
