could someone help?i`ve got the speed touch router from aol with an thernet cable to my pc so no spare sockets.Can i use an ordinary usb net adapter in the xbox,and if so how do i prompt my pc to find it,i haven`t got a clue i`m sorry!

the best way is to get a router. You would need an ADSL Router such as the Netgear DG834G
The internet would plug into the router. Then through wires OR wireless you could connect the router to the PC AND the Xbox/Xbox 360.
This way both can access it at the same time.
Configuring the router shouldn't be tricky using the manual included or a basic online tutorial
