Thanks for that but it states that their Sony TV's can only be purchased instore at their London or Essex stores. This also goes for the Sony TV I am interested in, which is showing at £999.
I'm in Yorkshire!0 -
I've posted a similar sort of thread in the techie section, regarding the sales prices of new TV's these days, and how much of a reduction we are likely to see, and when we will see it (i.e january sales, or only after the newest tv is released)
I'm really interested in the 40W2000 and that PRC shop has it at a good price, but again is only pick up (live in Wales) but there are a few places that have good prices, 5 yr warrantys, and will price match, but at the mo the price is about £1460, and i would love it if it were more like £1200!!! dont get me wrong, the internet prices are amazing already (in comet its about £1999) but i wonder when they start knocking the prices down to get rid of stock etc. It also helps if they allow interest free for 6 months, or buy now pay next year options.
What do people think? any good experiences or tips to look out for?0 -
Loobeylou, I took my own advice and bought a Philips at Comet. Two TV's and a full refund later .... I should have listened!
Anyway, have ordered a Tosh via JL ... should be £600 (my limit).
Hope you enjoy yours!
Nick
<fingers crossed the Tosh doesn't break down>0 -
Just to let you all know, I have done a deal at John Lewis - they have price matched Empire Direct's price of £949.99, and I get their five year guarantee.
However, we went yesterday and they had run out of stock - should have phoned first to reserve one. Anyway, we are back there next weekend to collect.
I guess if I see it cheaper anywhere in the meantime, I can always get back to JL and try to get them to give me the difference!
Many thanks for all the help.0
