Need help and advice

So I have a loan from 18.08.05, which we paid off early but I'm not sure when (this could mean it is over 6 years old now). It was supposed to be a ten year loan, and I think it is less than 6 years old.

However EPF under Norton Finance gave me the loan, but the insurance is with Hamillton Insurance which at the time was a HSBC group member, but it now under Aviva.

Who do I complain to?? the monthly PPI was 217.80 a month and I want it back as we were told we had to have it to take the loan.

    Hello there

You are in exactly the same position as me.

My broker though was Click Finance who dissolved in 2006, the loan was taken out in 2004, they were not regulated.
My lender EPF, and the insurer Hamilton.

The FOS are currently dealing with my case, and with Aviva, and also Direct Group having a part of Hamilton, they have taken on their liabilities as well.
However, I had to write to Hamilton, and they pass it on to Aviva to deal with, if this fails then you complain to the FOS.

Hope this helps and please also feel free to check out my thread on here as well, its a bit long and winded, where we assumed HFC were involved as well, but it's back to Hamilton again now.

    Hi

Sorry looking back on yours, it was then regulated, as you taken yours out from 2005, so its a little different to mine.

In your case you pursue the ones who sold and set up your account.
Hope that helps and sorry for mis reading on the dates this morning. x
    Good luck.
