nVidia graphics card problem - PLEASE HELP

i have dell vostro 1510which crashed all of a sudden. I could only see a black blank screen.After googling a tried connecting to a different monitor.
it shows "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".
despite uninstalling and rebooting i have the same error.
graphics card nvidia 8400gs

Have you tried the latest Driver for Windows Vista/7 32 bit?

64 bit here

If you have updated the Driver recently(in the last month or so) try rolling the Driver back to the previous one.

but it appears "your driver is up to date"
should i download from the website

Did you try un-installing, rebooting and installing the website version?
