Flawless Skin - Is it possible?!

I would suggest you change your skincare routine to using professional products (but not necessarily expensive), which sometimes are only available from the US unless you want to pay stupid amounts of money or some you can make alternatives easily at home, I have recently had a radical shake up of skincare and although it got worse before it got better the results really are outstanding, below are the two forums that have helped me the most

if you clean your skin too aggressively, you can do more harm than good - that's exactly what i was doing! a lot of people swear by liz earle. i think they still do a samle size cleanse and polish which might be worth a try before buying a full size one as it isn't cheap.Hi
Thank you for the advice, my skin cleansing regime wasn't really too intensive. I first exfoliate with St Ives and moisturise with Aveeno. I wash my face almost OCD style, this prevents me from having major breakouts but its not really getting rid of the general horribleness of my face skin.
The Oil cleansing method sounds great, the reviews are quite positive. Any tips on how to clean my skin using this method? some of the websites online look a bit contradicting... I'm pretty sure my skin isn't dry, I've never had a bout of dry skin in my life and my face skin always feels soft despite the nasty spots! :rotfl:
About using Castor Oil, its no special type is it? I could just pop to Asda to get some right?
i'll get the link to the OCM thread on here - any old castor oil will do.:happyhear0 -

i have tried a lot of things over the past 10 years and only a couple of things actually works for me. Drinking water, which i have only recently started to do and swear by it now! and doctor also gives me a face wash to use once a day and a cream that is meant for treating vaginal infections, but works and i love it!0

I think you'd benefit from using a primer before your foundation, Benefit do a good one, think it's called Pore-fessional or something similar, it's very good for hiding open pores. I only used a friends last week and loved it, I'd been using the Mac one before that, but thought it was abit glittery on my face. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I use the Clinique 3 steps, cleanse, tone and moisturise and also drink loads of water with a small squeeze of lemon juice.0

there is hope for everyone, make up will help. I think its 75% application technique and 25% product so try and get yourself a make up lesson with a beautician. It will cost a few £ but should easily pay for itself in make up mistakes that aren't bought.
If you want a natural looking solution mineral makeup is probably the best, its not the heaviest coverage though. Primer and concealers are definitely worth buying as they help to even out skin tone. You dont have to spend a lot of money on them either. One of my favourite primers is Lanacane anti chafing gel (as good as the smashbox primers it has the same ingrediants as!)The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
I would go to dermatologist for my skin problem. I have dealt with acne since senior high and it leaves me with the red scars (not too bad but you can see it though).0

I'm dreaming of flawless skin as you. I have tried a lot of ways. Eat properly may actually work and it is natural. A great menu is a balanced menu. Eat fruits and vegetables. They say eat 3 servings of fruit and 5 servings of vegetables. Avoid foods with caffeine and sugar. No greasy foods and red meat. Let's take a closer look at the foods that can restore our ageless beauty.
Grapes, Pomegranate, Apples, Blueberries, Fish, Salmon, Walnuts, Canola Oil, Flax Seed, Shellfish, Green Tea and Red Wine, Oysters, Carrots, Wheat Germ, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, and Wholegrain Cereals0
