Online Energy Saver 13 (No Standing Charge) HELP
Hi
This is our currentl tariff we swapped to this about 3 months ago.
Is this tariff effected by the hikes? I cant seem to find definate info on the web.
With the news of price hikes I have checked the swap sites and it say british gas is the best deal.....surely with the news they too are hiking prices that cant be right?

Your tariff is variable, so will be affected by Scottish power's increases. If you want to move there is a penalty charge of £30 for electricity and £20 for gas. See what the fixed price rates are on the comparison charts and see whether it is still worth moving.0

No there isnt, the penalty charge is waived if you instigate a move before 1st Aug.0

Thanks big help! I will get onto it now. I am assuming British gas is not the way to go even though it says they are the cheapest for my details?0

Yes it is. Information is avavilable on the SP website and you should also have received an email about this.
If not, you should investigate this further as there is obviously a breackdown in the e-communication chain somewhere (perhaps the supplier has the wrong contact details for you, the supplier's email is being rejected as spam, etc) and as you agree to being contacted electonically under the terms of the tariff, that could be a big issue."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
