LLoyds TSB Complaint Number

Hi All,
I was just wondering if anyone could help - I'm writing on behalf of my Mum who is acting as the executor of her Father's will (and therefore Bank Account). Lloyds have been messing her around for months, and have just been generally incompetent (she has a folder of issues, I won't go into all of them).
Anyway, she's tried dealing with the local branch, and just keeps coming up against the same set of people time and time again, who make promises that never materialise. I finally managed to persuade her to call their Complaints Line tonight (on 08453 000 000), only to discover you initially get screened by your account number and sort code. Unfortunately, she lives in the Channel Islands, so gets screened out by the system with a message telling her it isn't suitable for her. I just wondered if anyone had a direct line to talk to someone real in the complaints department to cut through all this red tape!
Thanks!

It appears that Lloyds TSB doesn't have any UK branches in the Channel Islands, their operations there are part of Lloyds TSB International. I haven't been able to find a complaints process but I'm pretty sure it can't be dealt with in the UK, and it won't be able to go to the FSA or Financial Ombudsman. There is some information here and I think your best bet is to complain in writing to the Jersey or Guernsey (whichever applies) head office and if that doesn't work go to the regulatory authority on the relevant island.0

You will only be able to access the account over the phone if you have power of attorney. The application for telephone access would have to be done at branch first. If it is an offshore account then you are wasting your time calling the 0845 3000 000 number. They deal with onshore accounts only.0

What's your point? The OP has already said that their mum has been dealing with the local branch.0 -
Where are the deceased's accounts held?
If in Channel islands then probate for those accounts will need to be got there as well as a UK probate for any UK assets.0
