What about people advertising wanting pets for free as "can not afford to pay"?

Sorry, if they can not afford to pay for a pet - how are they going to be able to afford to keep it?

Because they are 'entitled' to use the PDSA.

Either things have changed since I got my last kitten or local branches do not always adhere to that. Not only have I never had to pay but I've never had my kitten micro-chipped although I have always agreed to have them neutered. Was only house checked the first time.

As another user said, local branches of CP are locally run and NCC (master branch so to speak) only get involved if there are problems.

I can only speak for my local branch as I said :)

A little judgemental, maybe they can afford vaccs, worms, fleas etc. but not if they have to pay for the pet too?

I've only known 2 people use the PDSA because they were entitled to, everyone else has always used the local vet and has always paid.

Maybe it's the distance to the nearest PDSA centre? Maybe it's because they take their responsibilities seriously?
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
