Puppy Food?

Hi all,
I have a 10 week old Norolk Terrier x Staffordshire Bull Terrier and I'm wondering what I should feed him?
Apparently he was weaned on butchers but on the advice of the vet switched to pets at home complete puppy food.
I'd like to switch to something a bit better or him so I've been looking at skinners or Simpsons but not really sure what to feed... Skinners field and trial is a bit cheaper than regular skinners and Simpsons but I'm not sure how they compare nutrition-wise.
Any opinions?
Thanks,
Kevin x

If you go with Skinners, their duck and rice, salmon and rice, turkey and rice, lamb and rice and puppy are their only decent foods. The rest are not so good.
Simpsons is the better food, but as you said, more expensive, if you can afford better, go with it.
Others to look at are, fish4dogs, wainwrights (only available in pets at home), acana, orijen, fishmongers (again, pets at home only), arden grange. All verious qualities and budgets. But all good foods.Sigless0 -
Have a looka at csj. Its a high quality food at a good price. My 2 retrievers have been on it for a couple of years and I cant recomend it too much. The reason the price is so good is that they dont have huge advertising budgets also as its counted as a working dog food they dont pay VAT on the manufacture.
If you email them they will happily send free samples.

Thanks for the link Oliver14, I've just requested a sample.
We've got a 9 wk old Shiba pup who is the fussiest dog I've ever had. We've tried the pedigree puppy food (dry & wet) and eukanuba from the puppy pack and wainwrights but she still picks.0 -
