What the heck do I do?

Have posted on the forum a few times before. Gone through many emotions, and sometimes been angry.

Divorced, been sticking it out till DD turned 18, and lost now.

Care full time for my parents as an only child. To be honest the logistics is not the main problem.

DD turned 18 last month(youngest), which means, come september will get carers allowance and income support, about 90 quid a week. At that point will also get spousal maintanance of 3300 per annum.

That's all I will ahve to live on, ex earning loads.

Got joint lives maintenance in court and have to go back to courtnow, as our incomes have gone up and down respectively, mine down cos dd turned 18, and his massively up as he suddenly found the job he had lost again after the fdr hearing

Main thing is the disparity in our lives now

Ready for the abuse, but constructive advice welcome please

the only person who can change your life is you.
by continuing to feel bitter about your ex..............well, the only person youre hurting is yourself........hee isn't even giving it a second thought!
do a part time course..........get a hobby. money isnt everything, it may make life easier, but it isn't everything

Benefits don't control you!! You just want an easy lifestyle, get a job and rely on yourself for a change!

your main concern seems to be your parents. contact social services and ask for an assessment. they will assess both your parents needs and your own needs and a care plan can be drawn up. if youre not tied to your parents, you will thn be able to do something more constructive and finacially lucrative.

forget maintenance.....................you shouldnt be expecting him to look after you financially. youre divorced..............nothing to do with each other any more.

don't be so quick to dismiss social services. i have a social worker because i have a disability and he is a godsend.
