VB issue on Server 2008?

All,
Wonder if anyone can advise. I'm currently commissioning a new server, running Server 2008, and one of the bespoke applications I am putting on it (written in-house) keeps failing to run with an error "COMDLG32.OCX missing", yet the self-same application runs perfectly on my laptop.
It was suggested that Visual Basic needed to be installed on the machine, but I'm not convinced.
Does anyone know the answer, please? I've found a "redistributable" package on the net for VB6 (which I understand this application is written in), would the download and installation of this package be sufficient?
Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

With many thanks, Gaming_Guy for your advice.
Sorted it now - it was actually the 2005 C++ Redistributable package it was looking for. I actually found another application on the network that this guy had developed, which had a full install package included with it, installed that and then uninstalled just the application, leaving the "shared files" (including this elusive DLL) installed.
Worked a treat!0
