Seems like foreign drivers are not chased for speeding fines because our government refused to ratify the agreement!!!!!

as nomoneytoday states it does indeed work both ways, although they keep saying they're going change the system. They haven't yet

    see here

what is worth venting about is those foreign drivers who cause deaths on Uk roads, and although caught are often released with little or no punishment

    Are you sure?

I have heard that in some countries foreign drivers have to pay the fine before they are allowed to proceed.
There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.

    If only that was true.

Get caught by a fixed speed camera in France and as a foreign driver, the chances are that you will hear nothing more about it.
However, get stopped by traffic police or caught by a mobile camera and you will have to pay an on the spot fine. (speaking from experience as a passenger in a car that was stopped for speeding just outside Calais a couple of months ago).
