I have been franticaly reading through "The Great 'Cheapest Decent Laptop' Hunt" sticky thread in this forum, whilst running through currys.co.uk ; pcworld.co.uk etc. trying to find the best offer for a laptop which is £550 or less...
Laptop will be used for when I am working (so needs to be able to play games, watch DVDs, burn DVDs etc), lots of Ram, memory, decent graphics card... anyone know of such a bargain (or miracle), or shall I continue to wait for bigger sales discounts.
Thanks & Happy Xmas

thanks for the links barneystuta some look like good deals & thanks for the tip browntea.
However, I am not too sure about "Shared Graphics" memory, is it better to have one that is not shared?
Should I be aiming for 256 megs graphics card or would 128 be suitable0 -
Dell had some good deals on before Christmas.
Our desktops have all been Dell in the last 10 years and have been superb quality.
Have a look at the Dell website.0 -
