PHILIPS 32PF7531D/10 32" LCD HDTV with Freeview £599

Couldn't find any reviews either but looked at one in Comet, it looked very good with a HD signal and BBC2 freeview was reasonable BUT the SD freeview picture was very poor when looking at football (wednesday morning match of the day BBC1), a very large number of mpeg artifacts around players and ball, also checked the 'normal' non freeview signal and that was awful too. I compared it with a Sharp that was on sale next to it for £549 and the freeview picture on that blew it away! So my advice would be to audition one on SD before parting with your hard earned cash.0

Pixel Plus is Phillips method of giving HD results on a SD picture by increasing the number of pixels - it works passably well. (Having said that , it isn't mentioned as a feature on the Dixons or Philips website - might be that the Dixons version doesn't have it.) I haven't seen the Philips tv but from past experience the quality is very good - they do look very stylish. You can see it on the Philips website http://www.consumer.philips.com/ - sorry , I can't post a direct link , but it is easy to navigate to.
With Dixons , you can combine the coop20 code with the free delivery code (AFD199) and buy through Egg to save a further 5% which effectively brings the price down to £551. (I don't think you can combine the Quidco discount with Egg as you have to click the Egg link).
I'm very tempted..........!0
