I'd like to try to include as much info as possible so please forgive me if this gets long...
We were awarded just over £2000 last August for a loan from Lloyds. It was a second loan my husband had taken to repay a credit card balance and loan he had taken in 2007...the second one (which we won)was taken in 2008.
In the letter awarding us the second one they answered on the first, saying they were turning it down-we never sent a claim for the first one and assumed they were answering it to try to prevent us from claiming.
At the end of September last year we sent a questionairre claiming for the first loan-our argument being that the fact that our second claim was upheld stood to reason our first should be also...Why would we have known the details re ppi on the first loan would not suit us and do it again a second time (iyswim)?
We never got an acknowledgement of that questionnaire-I had a baby in August so once I sent the letter I dropped the ball.I couldnt find the recorded mail slip so sent another in this year when Lloyds made that big announcement about repaying ppi.
We still havent got an acknowledgement from them and I cant find the recorded mail slip:obut I have found the one for when I sent it last year in September.
Should I move on to the second step asking for a response relating to that contact or should I start again?

I would email the Chief Executive Officer (CEO and copy it to the Customer Care team, so you should get a answer by the end of the day or by Monday, good luck.

You know my last £2000 was largely thanks to you:)
Funny thing is after ttc for 3 years for Q (who arried in August),I found out recently Im expecting again-just gone 12 weeks.
In my email,am I referring to the questionnaire I sent in September,or the most recent one (or both)?
ETA:Can I be really lazt (baby brain) and ask if there's a template around for that?0 -

Hiya
That is lovely news, well done :T:T.
I would email them with copies of everything you still have that you previously sent them, ask them to track them down.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks Di
Will draft that email in the morning so it's in his inbox Monday morning:)0 -
Ive received an email this morning confirming that they had received the original complaint letter, but they were logging another complaint and would respond within 16 week as is required by FSA.
Now I sent in the questionnaire twice (once in October last year and once earlier this year-although cant find my tracking details for the most recent). Are they now expecting us to wait 6 days from today or should I ask that they confirm the date they have on their system as when "they previously received"?0
