I need a cupboard for my bathroom sink, but what is it called?

We're renovating the bathroom on a budget so just replacing hideous ancient mismatched taps on sink and bath. The sink currently is inset* into a cupboard unit, which the plumber needs removed to access bath. We're not especially keen on the cupboard but but we want to keep the sink, so need a new underneath to sit it within. But what is this piece of furniture called? I'm searching online to chk prices but I can't find any. All I come up with is a cupboard plus sink but we don't want/need a sink as well. Any moneysaving tips when buying taps/plugholes/wastes gratefully received too.
thanks!
*semi-undermounted or inset is the technical term I believe

I have a vanity unit and sink sitting on the floor next to me waiting to be installed (one day) basically you can mate up any suitable vanity unit to an apropriate vanity sink - the unit has not been cut out for the sink I have, I will have to do that, the sink came with a paper template to help mark out the cutting area.

I presume this is the case for most vanity units where there is a choice of sinks, so you need a suitable vanity unit that will take your sink (width/depth) and can be cutout for it. It will be a bit tricky without a guide but I assume the old vanity unit has been cutout for the sink so you could use the panels off this as guides instead, (you didn't throw them away yet did you? :))

B & Q, Wickes or BathStore all do stuff.

I got a handyman to build me a custom sized one. The sink in my cloakroom seems to have been put on at a totally random height so it was going to be a pain to get something off the shelf. I didn't want to go to the expense of getting a new sink and I needed it to disguise the pipes coming from the sink.

Buy the vanity unit (cupboard) and countertop separately, and set the basin into the worktop as appropriate.

However, most new basins come with a cutting template so that the cutout in the countertop matches the basin - without this, there may be some guesswork involved.

These are pictured with basins in place, but having just bought them recently, I can vouch for the fact that cabinet, countertop and basin were all separate items - and the doors arrived in a separate pack from the cabinet carcase, too, with the handles a further separate choice and package.

Typically, this won't be clear until you venture into a showroom, and browse the maker's catalogue and price list.

I was just going to mention about the tiled worktop. When I did my kitchen many years ago I hated it as soon as I had finished and removed it all within a year or so.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
