My opinion: a pointless post from a pointless (one time) poster.

The one that got me 4k for a car accident with minor injuries was fine.

Were your injuries really worth 4k? I'm genuinely asking.

Its not uncommon for people to make their injuries out to be more than they are or cite the injury lawyers favourite....whiplash in order to make a claim.

However the amount you are awarded is then passed on to policy holders when they renew. If a injury claim is made 50% of the time and costs more than the actual car repairs.......they'll factor this in to everyones premium (and have already started doing so actually).

Basically i'm telling anyone who would think about fabricating injuries/the extent of their injuries for financial gain to think twice. You will eventually pay for it yourself in a roundabout way.
