Jave error message

Hi all
When I first open Mozilla Firefox, I get a box with the following message, which I have to close before Firefox with open.

what happened TypeError: Components.classes is undefined

Very annoying!

Does anyone know how i can get rid of, or what i need to do??

Thanks...is there a good way to back up my bookmarks...or do I just have to make my own list and re-visit the sites on my reinstalled Firefox??

Mozbackup is easy enough:

Just be careful to unselect as much as you can, as it's better to reinstall extensions etc IMO.

depending on the version,

bookmarks, organize/show all bookmarks, then backup

after install, import from the same menu.

if it doesn't solve the problem, you may have to delete the firefox profile

or you could install firefox portable.
