Is this enough to make you happy with Santander? I think they have a long list of issues to work on!

There was someone on the Tv a few days talking about this,
apparently lots of call centres are coming home.
'Cos the economy in India is doing so well the cost of rent; staff etc is a lot more than it was
Businesses are deciding it's better to be here.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Now they need to start training people properly. It would be nice to think that Santander had done this for quality issues rather than financial ones.0

The UK is the new India. Underdeveloped, overpopulated and with families relying on handouts to feed themselves. If Queen Victoria could see us now. "One would not be amused"0

Santander isn't the only company taking work back from India. Perhaps the wages are now cheaper in Britain?" The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

I hope other banks will follow what Santander is doing by bringing call centres back to the UK.0

It's extremely rare to be able to use the phrase 'Well Done' when discussing Santander, but I'm sure this hasn't been brought about due to customer demand or complaints, more a case of simple economics in that it's cheaper for them !
They are now recruiting 500 new c/s staff to man these UK call centres. So what does that mean ? More poorly trained individuals giving scripted incorrect information to the public !
Am I too cynical ?................Nah !!!0 -
Frankly I understand the Indian call centres better than the Scottish ones.0

They'll still have a long way to go to match First Direct !!!!
Exceptional service from them !!!!0 -
Lloyds are also moving call centres back over here as well,0
