The discipline involved in studying and working hard is not the same discipline in handling money.
From the money perspective, I'm disciplined when I go food shopping and feel quite pleased with myself when I bag a few bargains. BUT, and this is the difficult to understand bit, I'll regularly spend £60 - £70 on a night out (and i mean at least twice a week) and splash out probably £200 a month on clothes. It doesn't bother me in the slightest, which is strange when you consider my pleased with myself attitude on making a few quid on my food shopping. Seriously odd I know but that's me!0 -

All hard work entails discipline - just because you find it harder to exercise in some areas doesn't mean it's fundamentally different.
Still, getting bogged down in semantics

Many people (as proved on here) have no idea how they are going to pay these things back, if you're desperate, paying BACK doesn't come into it.
I've never known an issue where so many people's circumstances change overnight than with payday loans.
They don't realise until their benefits of whatever are raped that those few nights out have cost them dearly.
!!!!!!, there was even one crazy wench on here borrowed from these people while on benefits to go to a hen night.....shezzzzzzzz"We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -

many people cannot afford to save, however, I do believe people CANNOT afford not to save. I am on a very low income but they just means you put aside a little less. saving is a mentality and many just don't make it a priority. These companies basically rely on our lack of discipline with money, because hen we're young we have money and what do we do, we spend it!
Make a decision to save, even a little, and you'll feel so much better. I know I do, and I only have £50 in my savings account.0 -

Looks like I did have a lucky escape and reading some of these posts on here, there is no way I would ever try to borrow money from any of these sites ever again.
I've always been a good saver, I rarely used to spend money when I was a kid, and now I'm older I rarely spend it. But then I don't have the money to begin with lol as ebay takes almost all my income from me
