    How much???

£850? Seriously? So you're only knocking off £45 from what you paid for it?

Anyone in their right mind would wait until the next sale and buy a brand new one...

My understanding is they paid £895 for the sofa and a further £599 for the chair?

So the saving would be £45 for the sofa and a saving of £599 on the chair??

It really doesn't read that way:
Less than a Year old was £1999 Winter sale was £895 which ended 7/3/11
Now back to Original Price £1999 for sofa, chair is £599

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

So how much was the chair during the winter sale?
  • I think the price is a bit high and personally would advertise things like this locally- local adds or gumtree etc...

The corner unit is currently £995, the chair £499, so your price is a lot of money for a second hand suite.
Personally unless the offer was a stupid one I would have taken it, you have said that you need to sell as you're moving so potential buyers will wait until you reduce the price.
I wouldn't pay any more than 1/3 of the new price & then only if it were in pristine condition & was exactly what I would buy if I were to buy new.
