    I know its Moneysaving site, but recycle water:rotfl: I,ll go to the foot ov ower stairs :wall:


    Go to B&Q and get the inhibitor you can use with a mastic gun that you inject through the rad vent. But wait until you have finnished all your decorating.

    It is not the cost of the water that you save, but the reduced potential for expensive corrosion that you achieve.

    It is not practical for a pressurised system, but for an unpressurised system with a header tank, recycling the water is a doddle and is far less effort than having to go and buy inhibitor and add it.

    But inhibitors do not last forever and should be replaced regularly anyway as advised by the manufacturers.
