I've just been given a Lexmark X85 all in one printer, but the scanner is only scanning a small section of the bottom right hand corner instead of the whole document.

Hey Hey

It's possible that your scanner software is only scanning what it "sees" and thus only looks at a part of the A4 area. Mine used to do that till I stopped doing preview which auto-selects a smaller area of the page.
Either eliminate the preview step (just click next) or when the box is selected around a small area, drag all four corners outwards till it's at maximum size.
Hope this helps a bit, I'm using my own experience with a random scanner and windows built-in scanning software (wizard).

Thanks crabman
Auto Crop was ticked, I removed it and it's scanning the whole document now0
