And thanks, again. And I've PMed you.

They demutualised (in 89) and have since been bought out by a Spanish bank (Banco Santander) and have decided to use offshore call centres. Also they've messed around the Cahoot customers something rotten

    PMed you back :)

    Q. What is the Group's position on lending to the companies involved with animal testing?

    A. As a minimum we seek to ensure that companies and public sector bodies engaged in research involving animals comply fully with all relevant regulatory and licensing requirements, and we support the pharmaceutical sector's move to increase the use of alternatives to the use of animals in research.

So yes, Natwest/RBS do fund companies associated with animal testing, but I'd imagine most other banks also do.

Thanks for that Kitty. Yeah I should imagine that most banks do but not heard anything about other banks doing it. I assume they keep it very hush hush.

Yup Cahoot were originally Abbey's internet arm but since Banco took them over the Cahoot side of things has been neglected.
