Sorry but you say that your OH pays for his own travel expenses, is that right.
So are all the car expenses yours.0 -
TO be honest as your income is so low compared to the total household income, there should be no real problems.
As with most posters on here, basically what you put on your SOA should be what you actually spend and not filled in to make it look pretty and total the exact amount. The OR will go through it with you, cutting some allowances and increasing others. We can only point things out, the OR's make the decisions about what you can and cannot have.0 -
Sorry Skint
Did you find out whether those expenses I commented on were business expenses and had to come from your gross income?
Tiredofworrying, can you please start your own thread as I think your OR may have sold you short.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
I don't know how to find out about the business expenses thing, so I just cut them and added a couple of pounds here and there on other stuff - is that bad?Proud to be dealing with my debts

just a question you say 1500 is your partners amount towards expenses - is this his actual full income? if not then this neds to be altered. You need to put down his actual earnings as the fact he has debts to pay is irrelevant - my OH is on DMP as was i but i went bankrupt in the end - when doing SOA you do not get any allowance for your OH issues just looked at as all income to do the percentage calculations.0

Hmmm! the amount you have put down as income is this your gross income before you take into account anything you spend on business?BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

You do not put your OH full income, you put his contribution to the joint household bills.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
my £240 is gross income, I'm paid every 3 months (termly) and that is an average of the last 6 months. This is what I take home as its so little I dont need to pay tax. I do need to sort out some class 2 national insurance though at about £10 a month.
The only expenses I have for work are my mobile phone - which I never saw as an expense because I had one anyway!! and petrol to and from work. I have to drive as I have 2 massive bags full of equipment that would be impossible to carry.
The 1500 is my partners contribution, as if I put his whole salary down without listing all his outgoings such as debts and travel etc, then it would look like we had a big surplus, which we dont!!!
The OR is not going to be interested in his outgoings as they are none of his business as it is me going bankrupot!! or that is how I understood it anyway! (please correct me if i'm wrong!!)Proud to be dealing with my debts
