    Can you give examples of this being the case? (companies and tariffs)

    EVERY supplier I've been with has said that if I were to set up a standing order I would either lose the DD discount or lose the tariff completely as its only available if paid by DD
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
