how to open mst file

i have photos on mst file and cannot access them any ideas thank you

mst files are typically used by the windows installation program - they are essentially a list of changes (transforms)0 -
yeah my computer broke so i got friend to save photos to laptop and thats where he put them 5223ht.mst file0

The only other program I know that uses mst file extentions is Corel Presentation Master
Can't you just ask your friend what he used?
It seems a bit strange that he didn't just save them as jpegs or a more common format
