On Monday it varied between 40% & 75%. I know it was on Look North that it was closing very soon, maybe Sat or Sun (we started talking when it came on so missed which day it said!), to be honest it's an hour round trip so knew we wouldn't be going again. It might be worth a phone call if you are planning a trip to save a wasted journey.

thanink will be good discounts at the weekend as have alot to shift
  • I went to the Romford store today. The store has 3 floors, but there was virtually no stock on the 1st floor and on the cafe was open on the 2nd floor. There was just 1 40" Sharp LED TV left, but it was only reduced from £640 to £400, which is less than a 40% discount.

They around 10 upright cyclone vacuum cleaners that they said had an RRP of over £100 and they were selling them for £50. They also had a choice of several tents on the ground floor.

Most of the other stuff on the ground floor was 70% off the lowest ticket price. The vast majority of the rails were filled with clothes - about 70% ladies and 30% gents. They still had loads of cosmetics on the ground floor at 70% off. They had a few books and household goods. At the back of the store they had a range of ladies clothes with big signs saying these were not 70% off - I suppose they must be keeping this range to sell over the weekend.

I found a pair of Padders trainers for me and a pair of Padders trainers for my father-in-law and I also bought a pair of Craghoppers trousers and I got change out of £20 for all 3.
