Returned Standing Order Charge?
Comments
-
in a day and age of internet banking, i dont see the value of standing orders.
They mean you don't have to remember to log on and pay bills.
All mine go out on the day after I get paid. No chance of there not being enough money and no chance of late payment fees from the other end.

I use standing orders for all of my bills bar the ones I get charged for not paying via Direct Debit.
It suits me down to the ground.urs sinserly,

I would say a so charge is like any other charge, the recent court cases, oft investigations and govern/consumer pressure muddied the waters and made it harder to claim charges, but there are arguments that people are using-far from straightforward.
Best bet is if you haven't had any charges recently to phone them up and explain, they may well refund anyway and you will be more careful then on now you know the charge.
