How much do you have going into your account each month? HSBC requires a minimum of £500 a month.
Not really, its just 'bogus' to attract money, but i am also shocked that they closed his account with £5k and £750 going in it.. 0_o
I wouldn't see this as a business decision i see it as a dumb decision

Quite frankly, if someone causes this much fuss over a call centre agent making a mistake (and lets face it, we all do it occasionally) it's no wonder HSBC doesn't want them as a customer!Before you ask, yes, I work for a bank, but no, I didn't get a bonus!0
