Mould in bathroom

Hi,

We have some mould in our bathroom - especially around in grouting - proofing difficult to get rid of ....

Anyone got any ideas of what I can use to get rid it?

Thanks Mark

    Most supermarkets sell Mould Remover,

But you also need to stop it happening again. Ventilation, ventilation and more ventilation.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Dettol mould & mildew remover worked very good in our mouldy bathroom. The only thing that will fully improve your grouting is to replace it though.

Mould killer to get rid of what's there.

Dig out grout and replace to get a fresh start.

Ventilate better in future to avoid buildup. If the mouldy area is in the shower area, then get into habit of squeegee/towelling down after a shower so that water doesn't lie on the surface and allow mould to develop. It's getting mouldy because it's not being allowed to dry out.

I've found HG mould remover to be great on grout. It smells quite strong but you should only need to treat the tiles once and keep the windows open for a while. You can get it from lakeland - their website has loads of good reviews for it as well.

I find that mould remover is no good. Replace the grout and keep the room well ventilated when bathing/showering.

Its worked for us although it does depend on how bad it is. I agree about well ventilated room though, a extractor fan is a must.
