Orange contract changes

I moved from BT to Orange for home phone and broadband in November 2010, main reason being that BT had changed cheap rate times from 6pm to 7pm. I noticed on my online bill this month that Orange was now charging me for calls between 6-7pm and turns out they changed their times and sent out e-mails in April. I am normally very good at reading all my e-mails, although Orange does send out major amounts of guff, but I either never noticed the e-mail or I missed this news when reading one of their novellas.
I contacted them yesterday and told them that when I changed to them they said I could leave BT at any time as they had changed the contract details so for this reason I wanted to cancel my contract with them. Received an e-mail this morning basically saying, tough luck we gave you 30 days notice via e-mail and you agreed to these things when you joined us and if I want to cancel now it'll cost you £55.
Has anyone else had a similar problem who could either offer some help or failing that is there somewhere I can just write rude things about Orange?:p
Humble apologies if this has been talked about elsewhere I did have a good look but couldn't see anything.
