Cheap Tariffs
I recently phoned Eon regarding my fathers energy bill. During the conversation he offered to put him on to a tariff which was cheaper than the standard tariff. After thinking about this for a millisecond I refused, as he could offer no guarantee that the tariff would remain below the standard tariff in the future. Is this the latest wheeze to get people onto a tariff which initially appears attractive but for users who do not regularily review their tariff will end up costing them more?
