Hi,
I am looking for a free (or cheap) download of software which I can use that will record my screen activity, allow me to add music and allow me to voice record.
I don't want their advertising on the screen.
I have tried using CamStudio but the quality is too poor.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

If you wish in this world to advance, your merits you're bound to enhance; You must stir it and stump it, and blow your own trumpet, or trust me, you haven't a chance.

SM Recorder works fine for me on Vista. Freeware with no apparent time limits.0

I use Wisdomsoft 'Screen Hunter' for capturing screenshots, it's good and it's free. They also have a screen recorder called 'autoscreenrecorder' which may meet your needs, there's a free 'lite' version as well as a paid 'pro' version.

If you have VLC Media player installed you can use that. Click Media, Open Capture Device and select Desktop from the Capture Mode drop-down menu.
Change your FPS and tick Show More Options to set a time length for capturing.0
