Electrician advice please

Hi , Could anyone help please. My mum's fridge-freezer went off a couple of months ago but was ok when I changed the fuse.Unfortunately it has happened again tonight and after changing the fuse , it works fine. I am just worried why a fuse would go twice in a couple of months, could there be an electrical problem? Thanks for any advice.

dunno .....they take quite a few amps on start up ...it charges a capacitor that then gives the motor a jolt to get it spinning....when the cap fails it may blow fuses ..the motor will just be in a stalled state..if it fails to blow the fuse in the future..the motor will then over heat and burn out..and its then a right off..you could just try swapping the cap (round cylindrical object next to or near the motor about the size of a pepper container )with one that has the same ratings written on it...and see if it cures it...be careful,as even when the supply is disconnected these caps hold a lot of charge.
