probably nothing major.
gas leak is normally pretty noticeable, and it would be the metal pipes you would need to puncture to cause a leak
Sound like the plastic gully to direct defrost water to external container
probably a good idea to try to seal up the 'new' hole to prevent water leaking into the insulation between inner/outer panel, but not urgent.
fill hole with epoxy resin or silicon sealant or similar and smooth it to allow water to flow over it ok0 -
Thanks for your help0

If it was escaping refrigerant that was causing the hissing noise you would soon know, because the fridge would rapidly stop cooling.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
What were you doing, clearing the ice with a knife or somthing?0
