a non wooden plastic heatproof mixing spoon

Hi everyone am hoping someone could help me as i want to buy a spoon like a wooden spoon but one made from heat proof plastic so it doesnt melt when stirring food in a saucepan when on the hob.
Cant have wooden spoons because the feel of the wood makes me gag (wierd obsession/phobia) lol
Have tried Lakeland, woolies, john lewis, argos ect but no joy so farso if anyone can help me with this i would appreciate it.]

Pound shops should have have them. also adsa`s / tesco`sIf it doesnt pay rent sell it.

I have the same feelings about wood! bought my spoons from wilkos, think they were between 39p and 79p depending on the length.Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0

I had had a look on the lakeland website but couldnt find any myself, didnt think to put in heat proof in the search box (durrr!) lol

Bit of a price though - I use the white melamine ones from Wilco's, poundland etc like Jules.0

yeah they are a bit expensive but they are heatproof so i guess it is worth it. I have bought the cheap melamine ones in the past but they melted so am gonna give the lakeland ones a try. I dont really mind as have got some spare cash left over from xmas pressies i got cheap or on offer so will use some of it on these.

you are taking them out the pan after you have mixed it arent you ? not leaving it in against the edge ??If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
