If you're a Sky user, you can download some programs from their web site now (films are free, TV shows are paid for)

Channel 4 now do VoD. Films are £1.99 and TV shows are 99p

It might be worth mentioning that the lasttime SKY decided to offer such a service, they used Bittorent to 'share' the files. If they are using the same method again, this may impact on your download cap if your ISP has one as its client installs and continues to run even though you may not be aware of it.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

Not sure what you mean here? It uses P2P, yes, but this is just a means of maximising the bandwidth. I'm not aware of any ISPs counting upload towards your download cap.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

BT used to count uploads as part of thier limits... Thats why they call it a "Usage" limit rather than a "Download" limit. I think they relaxed this when a load of people left them a few years back when the limits were first introduced... Tiscali used to do this too but I see they are now unlimited..0 -

Gotta be honest, there's very FEW the DON'T count upload totals towards your bandwidth monthly limit.
Please do not accept their "Unlimited*" badge as being unlimited! They are very very far away from being so.Tiscali used to do this too but I see they are now unlimited..0
