Wedding in two weeks, no centrepieces, no money

I am so stressed out. My plan had been to find something cheap on ebay or freecycle. For almost a year I was looking periodically but never spotted a 'bargain'. I am tearing out my hair now. We were going to get a package which was for 100 people and included table centres but now the wedding has grown and there are 18 tables. The venue dresser says the cheapest display she has is £10 per table (a bowl with water and gerbias floating in it) or ballons @ £7 per table - I hate balloons.
The wedding is in two weeks. I don't know what to do:(

hi we have got wooden roses, I think they cost about £13 for 100 off ebay and putting them in some cheap vases. Plus they are doubling up as the favorsRemember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0

One great idea I've seen, both here and on other forums, is popping upside-down wine glasses on flowers with a votive candle on top, which I think looks quirky and eye-catching. I bet you could source the items pretty cheaply – and quickly – at Ikea or someplace like that?

If budget is paramount and you can't take advantage of a freebie offer from kind folk here why don't you buy 18 of these = £9 and have a word with your florist to get some of the cheaper flowers that tie in with your bouquet...they look best with just two or three in (I have three of these in a row on my giant dining table - they all have three flowers in - more wouldn't fit, but they look quite fetching). Then see if you can get either some complimentary confetti or if that isn't to your taste, some flower petals, that match the colour scheme.

Sorry, I didn't quite get it - did you mean each table has three of them on it?
It looks like I will be heading down to Ikea:p0 -

My dining table is over 2m long...I have three vases in a row in the middle of it and three of Ikeas 59p flowers in each vase. It breaks up the vastness of it and also ties in with the colour scheme - their fake flowers come in all sorts of colours. But, being as you will probably have flowers for the wedding, I thought you might be able to negotiate a few extras with your florist - cheap ones that match your chosen colours - however the Ikea fake ones are pretty nice! The vases look good with just one flower in too - but I liked the way three sit in them.
If you go for the Ikea 59p flowers, 54 would cost you £31.86 and the vases £9 so about £40 but if your florist can get you the appropriate number of flowers for less than 30 quid or you would prefer real ones then that is an option too!
http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/10139191 the flowers but there are others a little more expensive - I have the white ones but I also liked the pale green ones but they wouldn't have looked right with my decor! They are like a big daisy.

If nothing else, you could easily beat the quoted price for the fishbowls - I got a bunch from Sainsburys for £3 each...and you just need a couple of heads of gerberas, so maybe around £4 per table all in. Could add some food colouring to the water to make it "pop" a little more
