Evening!

I've recently moved house, so I'm putting some bits on eBay in hope to make a few bob for my clutter!

My first Q is regarding the 100 item max listings a month - does anyone know if thats reset each calendar month? ie 1st - 1st? or whenever its from the exact date when you most recently started to list again (I hope that makes sense!)

Also - some of my old clothing items are not being permitted to be listed as they qualify as a premium brand (despite some being high street! - I can only list 3(?) per month) does anyone know if there is a list published of which brands eBay classifies as premium?
Its a little frustrating as it doesn't tell me I cannot list the item until after I've completed the blurb etc... which is quite time consuming. If I can see at a glance what shops/brands are considered "premium" i will know to keep them aside.

It's not 100 max listings a month, it's 100 free 99p listings. You can have any number of listings you want per month.

I think it is a calendar month they use.

Beware if you use the entire allowance though - they do have people looking at large quantities of listings from one individual and keeping an eye on people who should be business registered. A while back they were forcing large volume private sellers to upgrade to a business account (because they rightly or wrongly assumed someone with a large amount of BNWT clothing was buying them in to sell on, for example, rather than simply having a bottomless wardrobe, and among the complainants on the eBay board were an awful lot of people who didn't understand where the trading line fell), so it makes sense to space listings out a bit, not only so you don't use up your quota of free listings, but also not to make spooks at eBay think you are actually trading.

I'm not sure eBay have released a definitive list of what they consider "premium" items. I know things like River Island are affected. Sometimes criteria are held back because they want to be flexible (or arbitrary given perhaps the seller's standing) or at least make sure people can't "game" the system, and I don't tend to sell clothes so I don't have a good idea of where the limits are.
