Bullet proof glass

Hi there,
We just got the keys to our new house. It was previously used by the Council and one of the feature was a post-office type cashier counter. We dismantled it but we are left with five panes (various size) of bullet proof glass almost 2 inches thick. Any ideas where we can get rid of them?? They closed our local skip so we would have to go somewhere else, and also we don't really want to pay to dispose of it if possible.
Thanks

Maybe ring your local council and see if they offer some sort of bulky collection service.

Keep it .... as you don't know what the new neighbours are like yet
But I am intrigued as to why a council house would have bullet proof glass. Is this house in Manchester?0 -

previously 'used' by the council
no doubt as an office, payments facility or the like0 -
We put it on ebay - only another 6 hours to go before the end of the bid - we just worried nobody will buy it.
We probably put on freecycle next if no-one wants to buy it.
I was just hoping you might have other suggestions in case nobody local wants it as we need to get rid of it soonish.0
