Hello,
I have 4 credit cards which I would like to transfer the balances to 0%, but because of the high limits, I keep getting knocked back when applying for a new card with a 0% balance transfer. How can I get round this problem to start paying off my debt instead of just the interest?
Barclaycard £11,200
MBNA £7,800
Co-op £8,600
Capital 1 £3500
I applied for a Halifax card, and tried to transfer £7,800 from my MBNA today but was unsuccessful. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
K

With 32.8k of available credit, currently maxed out at 95%,, I’m afraid, no card will touch you, let alone for an interest-free deal. Why would anyone want to take on your debt. when the likelihood of you defaulting cannot be ruled out? You are sitting in a hole, stop digging!
Where to start? Start in this forum on the ‘Debt free Wannabee’ board and post a ‘Statement of Affairs’. The guys and gals there can help you and will point out where you could save money.0
